Hi all, maybe it a little too late for this tutorial because Windows 8 and Window 10 is already few years in the market but i bet some of you still don't manage to speed up or don't even know how to do it. Here i will show some step in speeding up your PC especially in Windows 8 and Windows 10 (maybe Windows 7 also can). This tutorial will boost up your PC even more if your motherboard is included with UEFI booting system (fast boot).

.Click Windows menu and type msconfig and click the System Configuration application that appears.

.Then when System Configuration is open, click on the Boot tab, click on you operation system selection. At the Timeout, type in 3 seconds which will be the estimated time for starting and shutdown boot duration (default 30 seconds).

.Next at the same tab, click Advanced options, at upper left, tick the Number of processors and select 4 as the maximum processor (depends on processor number) that will be used up to speed up the boot operations. At the upper right, tick the Maximum memory and just put your maximum memory size (1024 = 1GB, 2048 = 2GB, 4096 = 4GB and so on). Then click OK.

.After that, go to Services tab, and check out the services that maybe you don't need that will lagging up the startup or shutdown process. Make sure the services that you disables is not related to windows services, if not will disturb the windows from functioning properly. If not sure whats to disable, you better try googling up the services one by one or just ignored this step.

.After finish all step, click Apply and then click Restart to make sure the system settings applied smoothly. Good luck!
